This year, over Memorial Day Weekend, we will hold our 52nd Annual Saint Augustine Beach National POP Tennis Tournament.
We are expecting 70-90 total competitors and between 120-200 associated family and friends.
The tournament also attracts numerous regular “beach goers” who become engrossed in the fast paced action and competitiveness of match play
At present, we are showing registrations from 7 different states, illustrating the popularity and interest that our Tournament has generated over the years this unique event has taken place.
This year, we expect even more interest in our tournament as, after a year away from the BEACH, we have returned to it and Saint Augustine is the ONLY place in the world where this game can be played on the sand.
The Tournament Committee of our 52nd event would like to ask you to consider a financial donation (or other type of gift-giveaway) to help us continue to provide a venue that offers a combination of competition and collegiality.
Your kind donation (of any kind) will help us maintain a first-class event that is truly representative of our first-class community.
The tournament will begin at Ron Parker Park on Friday May 24th, then move to Butler Beach, as tides permit, concluding on Sunday May 26th.
